I took a techniques class at Williams-Sonoma this weekend about using slow cookers and pressure cookers to cook tough meats until they are tender. The class was ok, but I mainly just like perusing the store. I saw a copy of this book on display and loved the photos.
The book contains recipes for classics such as Banana Cream Pie, Black & White Cookies, Mississippi Mud Pie and pages of beautiful photos. It will be on my Christmas list for sure.
