Givin' a hoot about our doormat

Today, while running errands, Mr. ChunkyPineapple reminded me that we need a doormat.  After taking a look at about 20 different styles, we decided that the majority of doormats out there are pretty plain or just plain ugly.  Maybe most people figure that doormats gets grubby and stepped on anyway, so who cares?  We thought we'd get depressed if we were greeted by a sad looking doormat everyday, so lucky for us, there was one option that stood out among the rest.

As I laid our doormat outside, exposed and vulnerable on our front steps, I thought to myself...maybe doormats are ugly so nobody will be tempted to steal them.   Doh!

Owls are a trend that I can get behind.  Everyone knows that they are wise and I must say, they are suitably cute for both babies and adults alike.

I saw these silk-screened t-shirts and onesies at Market SF on Saturday.  I had the chance to snag one at a discount, but didn't and now I regret it.  Doh!
