Getting Organized

AOver the weekend, I received an email from BloomSpot containing a special deal for Custom Living Solutions, an organization consultant.  (For those of you who don't know, BloomSpot is a website that sends you a daily email containing a big discount off of all sorts of things (certificates for Whole Foods, restaurants, spa treatments).)  The deal for the $350 Custom Living Solutions is the Residential Organizing Kick Start Package ($997 value) includes a 1 hour assessment and 2 hours of implementation.  Since we just moved, we do need to think carefully about how to organize our place, but will I spend $350 for help?  I think not.  I'd rather consider spending some of it on some of these nifty ideas:

For the bathroom
I could use the ledge of the bathtub to store my shampoos, conditioners, etc., but that causes water to collect in the corners which eventually could lead to water damage to your walls.  This shower caddy looks like a great alternative.  It's stylish, adjustable and looks pretty sturdy.

For the kitchen
We have TONS of spices and we need to figure out a way make them all visible and easy to find.  The two options below are very nice to look at, but I am afraid we've got way more than 6 or 12 spices.
Rectangular Spice Set by RSVP International available at Organize.com.
Magnetic Spice Easel available at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Another great Simple Human invention, this sleek looking dish rack.  It can drain water into your sink and has a special knife block too.
Available at Simple Human

These two are super cute and practical finds from Etsy:

Chalkboard labels from StyledStickz
This dishwasher magnet from Lterrill9 would be pretty helpful.

Array Silver Bookshelf from CB2.
And just for inspiration
